Cardboard Display Stands – Grill’d Campaign

Grll’d required a custom floor cardboard displays for a nationwide retail promotion across Coles stores. The displays needed to hold Grill’d products securely as well as provide strong in-store brand visibility. This assignment also required meeting dimensional and structural needs for the allocated retail spaces.

Timeline

The final order and deposit were confirmed in mid-June, afterwards our logistics partners completed production, international freight, customs clearance, and nationwide distribution across July and August. The team delivered cardboard displays to stores in line with the promotional rollout schedule.

Quantity and distribution

We produced 550 cardboard displays in total:

• 530 displays for individual Coles stores across Australia
• 20 additional displays for Grill’d offices
• The rollout covered metropolitan, regional and remote locations across all Australian states and territories, with each display stand delivered directly to its designated store.

Technical and design considerations

We manufactured the displays using 350 gsm greyback paper laminated to BE-flute corrugated board, with internal steel supports. and. as a result each shelf was designed to hold up to 20 kg. The production team applied a matte finish to complement Grill’d’s branding.

Cardboard’s original shelf clips were transparent. It did not blend well with the red display design., therefore we quickly arranged customised red clips for the entire order. It did not affect the agreed delivery schedule.

One of the main challenges was ensuring that our cardboard displays were strong enough to support the required product weight while remaining practical to pack, transport, assemble and distribute individually to hundreds of stores. We also coordinated a complex logistics schedule involving sea freight, air freight and final-mile delivery throughout Australia.
